Craft Gin Club’s April 2023 Gin of the Month hails from The National Distillery Company in Napier, New Zealand. Brimming with mouthwatering citrus and spice tones, including lemon and liquorice, NDC Heritage Gin is an innovative spirit that will impress the most discerning gin lovers. A classic blend of fragrant juniper and coriander seed combines with the brightness of lemon peel to create a unique gin that is at once classic and refreshingly modern.

From Napier, New Zealand, this delicious gin is bursting with juniper, lemon, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root, cardamom, cassia bark botanicals. Serve your NDC Heritage Gin with Hartridges Indian Tonic Water, then garnish with orange slices and warm allspice.

On the nose, piney notes of juniper are enhanced by a fresh pop of citrus from the hand-peeled Meyer lemon and coriander seed. This carries onto the palate, complemented by the sweetness of liquorice, with cassia and cardamom coming through mid-palate. A lemony, spiced note lingers long on the finish.

How to make the Kiwi Cooler Cocktail

  • 50ml NDC Heritage Gin
  • 25ml Kiwi Cooler Cocktail Syrup
  • 100ml Sparkling Raspberry Spring Water
  • Kiwi slice to garnish

1. Fill up a rocks glass with ice and add your gin and syrup.
2. Top up with Marlish Raspberry Sparkling Water and stir gently to combine.
3. Garnish and serve!
