Our Rum of the Month comes to you from an island city known as the ‘Venice of Quebec’, Salaberry-De-Valleyfield, a picturesque tourist hotspot with no shortage of waterside watering holes and home to La Distillerie 3 Lacs. Peppered with winding canals, urban strolls along the promenade and restaurant terraces overlooking the marina, you couldn’t ask for a better place to while away the summer evenings.

Born from three friends’ love for brewing, distilling and all things boozy, this rich rum is full of exotic spice, zesty citrus and a touch of vanilla sweetness. How to make a Paloma

  • 50ml Distillerie 3 Lacs Spiced Rum
  • 25ml Paloma Cocktail Syrup
  • 100ml eauYES Pink Grapefruit Sparkling Mineral Water
  • Salt, fresh lime wheel and fresh grapefruit slice, for the rim and garnish

 

1. Add all the ingredients to a highball glass filled with crushed ice.

2. Add ice, then pour in the ingredients and give a quick stir to combine.

3. Garnish with a lime wheel and grapefruit slice before serving.
